ānulus Aegyptius, CLC 10 page 172. You may refer to your earlier translation
sheet and/or the story and vocabulary help from the book.
"ānulus antīquus
est," inquit. "servus in pyramide ānulum invēnit."
"euge!" inquit
Poppaea. "ānulus Aegyptius est fēlicissimus."
"pecūniam nōn
habeō," inquit, "quod Neptūnus nāvem meam dēlēvit."
caupō incendium
spectābat. ēheu! taberna ardēbat!
caupō Syphācī vīnum
dedit. Syphax caupōnī ānulum trādidit.
caupō uxōrī ānulum dedit,
quod ānulus eam dēlectāvit.

from the substitute and individually prepare a written translation to turn in.
You may use the glossary in the book as well as the story helps to be found on

3: When you have finished the Part A
Spurius translation sheet, request the
C11 Personal Pronoun Practice sheet from the substitute. As you work with this
PAY ATTENTION! Some verbs will need to
use a DATIVE form of the pronoun as an “object.” Other regular verbs will use an ACCUSATIVE
form of the pronoun as a normal direct object.
And whenever the pronoun comes first in the English sentence, it is
going to be the subject of the sentence and will need to be in the NOMINATIVE
CASE. Turn this sheet in to the substitute when you are finished.
