Tues.-Wed. December 18-19, 2012 All Classes

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am most appreciative of all your diligent work over the past ten days...
you are all really SUPER!
Here's the deal for Tuesday and Wednesday:

A)
Finish up any of the blog-posted assignments
(they are are still there in the order they were posted)
that may need your final touches
and get them turned in to me: by email, by message,
or by turning in paper copies to the substitute today or tomorrow.
It is my intention at the moment to be at WHS  briefly
at the end of 3rd block tomorrow
to pick up all the work which has been turned in there.

B)
I would like you each to produce two (2) PINGITE! illustrations:
one scene from the Virgil -Trojan War-Aeneas reading you have done,
and another scene
from the Numitor-Romulus-Remus-Lupercal reading you have done.

As usual, ANY level of artistic ability is acceptable.
Make sure you TITLE your drawings.
Make sure your name and date are on both of them.

Your drawings will be evaluated on
the amount of relevant details you include for your picture.
I want to see that you KNOW the scene you are illustrating.
You may also use captions, a text summary, or side-notes
to explain your drawing.

This time COLOR is REQUIRED.
The substitute will provide you with copy paper
from the bottom drawer of the left hand file cabinet by the desk.
You all know where the colored pencils
and crayons are in the back of the room;
if you want markers, ask the sub to open
the top right drawer of the desk
and set them out for you.
There are some rulers in the desk center drawer.
You will have as much as two class periods for this  assignment
and the grades will be weighted to reflect that time.

Now...produce some masterpieces!

C)
Take a look back over your progress reports.
The zeroes that you see can be made up and replaced with real grades.
All it takes is a determination to succeed on your part.
Please make a list including each item title you are missing
and the date listed for it;
email or message me your list and
I will put together the work you need
and email  new copies to you over break.

With a small amount of effort, everyone
could start the last month of the semester
ready for SUCCESS!

I send you all my best wishes for a well-deserved vacation. Enjoy!
And may the New Year bring good things for us all.
