BLOCK THREE, Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013

Block 3, Latin 3

Ladies and gentlemen, please finish up the loose ends on the Revocāta and Cēna story sheets from last week.
Alexis and  Essence, translate, EXPLAIN, and contribute your preparations from yesterday's Philosophia story to the rest of the class.
“Rest of the Class” make sure that what is being presented matches your understanding of what you see is happening in the Latin.  Do not write just copy down things that do not say what the Latin does; ask questions and make corrections. That is the point of this type of shared assignment, and accuracy is a part of EVERYONE’S grade.

Also, it is time to get last week’s CLC 32 Vocab sheets turned in as well as CLC 32 Reading Comprehension  Questions.

When you have completed and turned turned in the work above,  request workbook WB 32.4 Depending on Deponents and the CLC 32 Vocab Practice  and Verb Match sheet from the substitute and get started on them.

Essence and Alexis: You will be retaking the benchmark exam tomorrow. I printed out the Study Guide for you yesterday.  Make sure you put time in on this; it is IMPORTANT!
Here is another online version with active links:

"euge!" inquit Poppaea. "ānulus Aegyptius est fēlicissimus."

"pecūniam nōn habeō," inquit, "quod Neptūnus nāvem meam dēlēvit."

caupō  incendium  spectābat.  ēheu! taberna ardēbat!

caupō Syphācī vīnum dedit.  Syphax caupōnī ānulum trādidit.

caupō uxōrī ānulum dedit, quod ānulus eam dēlectāvit.

caupō, postquam ānulum accēpit, eum īnspexit.
